How Pamuuc Pre-Order Works
A slower rhythm, made clear.
Pamuuc works in weekly pre-order batches. From Monday to Sunday, you choose your piece, size and colour. On Sunday at 23:59, the weekly window closes. On Monday morning, the confirmed batch is sent to our production partners — and your garment begins to take shape.
Why we chose made-to-order instead of ready stock
Most clothing brands produce large quantities upfront, then spend months trying to sell what they made. That model works financially when everything sells, but it creates a structural incentive to overproduce — and overproduction is one of the most damaging patterns in fashion.
We chose a different approach from the start: we do not make a single garment until someone has decided they want it. Pre-order lets us group real demand into weekly batches, produce only what has been confirmed, and keep each collection closer to what customers actually choose rather than what we guessed they would want.
- Less overproduction. We produce small weekly batches instead of large speculative runs. If a colour or size is not chosen often, we do not make extra of it.
- More precise planning. We prepare only the colours, sizes and fabric quantities that customers have confirmed. This makes the production process cleaner and reduces fabric waste.
- Better quality control. Smaller batches, produced with partners we know well, make it easier to follow each piece through cutting, sewing, finishing and checking.
- A clearer relationship with each garment. When your piece is made for you specifically — not pulled from a pile of identical stock — the relationship between the person who chose it and the garment itself changes slightly. We think that matters.
The weekly pre-order timeline, step by step
Monday to Sunday: the order window is open
Each week, from Monday morning to Sunday at 23:59, you can browse the collection and place your order. You choose your garment, select your colour and size, and complete checkout. Your order is confirmed immediately.
If you have a question about sizing or colour before ordering, the size guides on each product page are designed to help you compare measurements with a garment you already own. The contact page is also available if you need anything clarified before committing.
Sunday at 23:59: the weekly cut-off
Every Sunday at 23:59, the weekly window closes. Orders placed up to and including that moment join the current production batch. Orders placed after midnight on Monday open the following week's batch.
This cut-off is what makes the model work. It gives us a clean, weekly moment to count confirmed pieces, confirm colours and sizes, and prepare production with real numbers instead of forecasts.
Monday morning: the batch is sent to production
On Monday, we compile the confirmed order details and send them to our production partners. This includes fabric needs per colour, sizes, quantities, embroidery requirements, and any garment-specific production notes.
Our cut-and-sew work, dyeing, finishing and embroidery are handled through partners in the Barcelona area. Knitwear is made with Sompunt in L'Espluga Calba, Lleida. Keeping production close helps us communicate quickly and follow the batch carefully.
Production: cutting, making and finishing
Once production starts, the fabric is prepared and cut to the confirmed sizes and quantities. Embroidery is planned and applied where the garment requires it. Each piece moves through sewing, finishing, labelling and quality checks before it comes back to us for packing.
This process takes time because it is done carefully and in the right order, not rushed. The 12-day estimate from cut-off to dispatch is realistic for a normal weekly batch, but it can shorten or extend slightly depending on production rhythm and batch complexity.
Dispatch: tracked and confirmed
Once the batch is packed and ready to ship, we dispatch with GLS. You receive an email with your tracking number as soon as the parcel is on its way. GLS delivery usually takes 2 to 5 business days after dispatch, depending on your destination.
You can check the full list of shipping rates and destinations on the Shipping and Pre-Order Information page.

What to expect between ordering and receiving
One of the most common questions we receive is: how will I know what is happening with my order? The answer is that we keep you updated as the batch moves forward. You receive a confirmation email when your order is placed, and a tracking email when your parcel ships.
If a batch is taking longer than expected — which can happen with more complex weekly runs — we will communicate that proactively rather than leaving you to wonder. Our goal is that you always know roughly where your order stands.
The wait is part of the model. It is not a sign that something is wrong. A piece being made for you in a controlled weekly batch, by people who know what they are doing, takes more time than picking something off a shelf. We think that time is worth it.
Changing or cancelling an order
If you need to correct something — a size, a colour, or a detail — contact us before the Sunday cut-off at 23:59. Before the weekly window closes, changes are usually manageable.
After Sunday at 23:59, your order becomes part of a production batch. Fabric, colour and size planning may have already started, and changes become much more difficult at that point. The current cancellation fee after the weekly close is €10 and should be checked against the live policy before confirming a cancellation request.
For order corrections or questions, use the contact page and include your order number. The earlier you reach out, the more likely we can help.
Payment and order confirmation
Your card is charged at the time of purchase, when you complete checkout. You receive a confirmation email immediately. We do not hold pending charges: the transaction is processed when you order, not when the garment ships.
If you return a garment after receiving it, the refund is processed through the original payment method once the return has been received and approved. The current return fee is €8, deducted from the refund amount.
What the pre-order model means for you as a customer
- A fresher piece. Your garment is made for the weekly batch, not pulled from stock that has been sitting in a warehouse for months.
- A clearer process. You know when the weekly window closes, when production starts, and roughly when to expect dispatch. There are no vague timelines.
- Transparent updates. We keep you informed from production through to GLS tracking.
- 30-day returns. If the piece does not work for you, you can request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided the garment is unworn, unwashed, clean and has its original labels attached.
What goes into each piece: fabric and craft
Understanding the pre-order model is one part of the picture. The other part is what is actually being made. Our summer collection uses a cotton-linen blend chosen for breathability, structure and everyday wear. Linen brings natural texture and lightness; cotton brings softness and familiarity. Together, they make a fabric that works through warm months without feeling fragile or stiff.
The linen we use is European Flax certified where the relevant batch documentation applies. Dyes are OEKO-TEX certified where confirmed for the relevant batch. We state this specifically rather than applying certifications as blanket claims across the whole collection.
- Fabric sourced in Europe, selected for warm-weather wear and durability.
- Dyeing, cutting, sewing, labelling and embroidery handled through our local production network in and around Barcelona.
- Knitwear produced with Sompunt in L'Espluga Calba, Lleida — specialists in knitting, linking, washing and finishing.
- Recyclable packaging used to protect the garment on its way to you.
For more on our materials and what supports each claim, read the Pamuuc transparency page.
